Whenever we are at a loss to know what to do for supper, and especially when we want something tasty but really easy, this is what we usually opt for....Vodka Pasta...
...Penne with a tomato sauce enriched with cream, chilli and a couple of tablespoons of vodka. However did the Russians and Italians come up with this so simply together dish?
If you want to 'bump it up' you can add Chipolata sausages on the side for traditional eaters, or vegan sausages - but I hardly ever feel the need. The richness of the pasta dish is sufficient by itself.
